DJ Hire and Mobile Disco in Little Leigh, Cheshire
Sunday 5th May - We were booked to entertain in Little Leigh,Cheshire for Julian and Barbara's joint 50th birthday party. It's a little further than we would normally travel to events but DJ John did not mind this with the good bank holiday weather. You couldn't miss where the party was, just follow the all balloons.

DJ John met Julian & Barbara who were very nice people and helpful who offered to help with the set up of the equipment. We generally decline this because they've paid for our services which includes the DJ setting up the necessary equipment and also we would not like a customer to injure themselves by assisting us.

The address had a lovely garden & marquee (provided by www.newcastlemarquees.com)& the sun made for an excellent day to have a marquee party.
As usual DJ John was all set up with the sound check completed & still spare time before the event was due to start in case anything obscure arose.
The guests arrived at the party and were really enjoying the music and the sunshine until the food was starting to be served and after this the announcement of the birthday cake for Julian and Barbara. Julian made a short but very touching speech of thank you's to the guests, his family and wife. Then not to be outdone, the better half, Barbara, had a few words to say along with a poem which was pretty amusing and well thought out.

DJ John lead the guests into singing happy birthday to them both at this point followed by the start of the disco and dancing. The music was flowing and as the sunshine fades, the heating is put on in the marquee which in turn brings the guests in from the garden and more dancers to the floor.
John received many music requests which were very diverse and everything from Katy Perry to Led Zeppelin.
The last hour of the event was purely Rock music from Freebird to Whole Lotta Love & the family song FIREWORK to round off an excellent event!
