Wedding DJ, Wedding Disco service at Coniston Hotel near Skipton

Sunday 26th May 2013 - Bank Holiday weekend Matt & Kerry tied the knot at the lovely Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold near Skipton. DJ Dave was booked for this event after a recommendation from his favourite photographer Peter Anslow. DJ Dave was the ideal choice of Wedding DJ for this lovely couple.

The bride and groom also booked a Casino and Bouncy Castle for the afternoon to keep the adult and kids entertained throughout the day.

DJ Dave started at 7:30pm with the evening disco to celebrate this special event. There was also the Photo Booth from GogopodUK for guests to have their photos taken and remember the big day. 

Shortly following this Dave made sure everyone was in the room for the announcement of the bride and groom's first dance as husband and wife. (displayed below)

  After the first dance the evening supper was served (sausage, bacon sandwiches and chips) which were lovely. 

Dave continued with his excellent music and entertainment to get everyone up on the dance floor to have a good dance throughout the rest of the evening. 

 

The evening was brilliant! Everyone had an excellent day and many good comments were received on the quality and professionalism of Dave Pierce Entertainment.

Saturday 5th October 2013 - James and Jeanette's reception at the Oaks Hotel in Burnley, Lancashire
James had been friends with DJ Dave for a number of years and new about his excellent reputation for being the DJ to book for your wedding reception in Burnley so naturally as soon as the couple decided they were getting married James contacted Dave to book his services for the reception.

Saturday 28th September 2013 - Dave Pierce Entertainment were booked for Debra and Phillip's reception at the Horseshoe suite, Bolholt Country Hotel which is in Bury, Lancashire.

We had our new professional DJ Booth available for this event. It looked very well in the wedding venue.

Wedding DJ Hire - Deanwater Hotel Wilmslow Rd Stockport Cheshire - Professional Wedding Disco

Saturday 21st September 2013 - was the date for Jinhee and Daniel to celebrate there wedding which had been held in London 3 weeks previously. Their friend Rebecca had booked with Dave Pierce Entertainment and had chosen to hold this celebration of their wedding at the Deanwater Hotel, which is in Woodford Village very close to the town of Wilmslow, Stockport, Cheshire.

Well what a great crowd we had for this event, they really looked happy and ready to have a great night from the off!

One hour in and it was time to invite the bride and groom onto the dancefloor for their first dance. Technically it wasn't their first dance as husband and wife but we went with wedding DJ tradition anyway.

 

The dance was beautiful. We really could see in their eyes how much in love this couple was and that they were definitely meant to be married as husband and wife

 

After the dance it was time to tuck into some buffet which the staff at the hotel had prepared and really was of an exceptional standard. In fact everything at this venue including the efficiency and attitude of the staff here was excellent. We wedding DJ's find it much easier to work alongside a well coordinated team of people.

Anyway, it wasn't long before everyone had finished the food, the key members of the event had said a few thank yous and it was time for some dancing.

 This is DJ Dave's favourite part of the evening where he can interact a little more with the audience and ensure they all have a fantastic end to the evening.

DUNKENHALGH HOTEL BLACKBURN WEDDING DJ - Pendle Suite Wedding Reception Disco

Wedding DJ at the Pendle Suite, Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Blackburn, Lancashire

On Saturday 14th September 2013 Dave Pierce Entertainment were to provide the Wedding Disco for Mr and Mrs McGurk.

 

 

The Bride and Groom had something a little different for their first dance on this occasion and choose a shortened version of Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds which they had also prepared a dance routine for. Everyone at the wedding loved what they had come up with.

 

After the dance DJ Dave got straight into the party hits, quite of lot of which the bride and groom had requested prior to the day on their wedding playlist.

Dave had the dancefloor full all night long.

The mother of the bride commented on how good the entertainment/music had been and she was incredibly impressed and stated "this is the first wedding I've been to in years where the dancefloor was full all night long. Thankyou for been so good DJ Dave."

WEDDING DJ at Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Townley Suite, Blackburn

Friday 30th August 2013 - Dave Pierce Entertainment were booked for the wedding reception of Mr and Mrs Cerami at the Townley Suite of the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Blackburn, Lancashire.
The groom is Italian and many of his family had travelled over to be part of the big day.

WEDDING DISCO and DJ HIRE at COPTHORNE HOTEL, SALFORD QUAYS, Manchester

Saturday 17th August - Barry and Jenny's Wedding at the Copthorne Hotel on Salford Quays, Manchester
Barry and Jenny are good friends of DJ Dave and so invited him to the whole day for their wedding. They originally asked Dave if he would like to be the DJ for their wedding but when they booked they found out that a DJ would be included in the hotel's own wedding package. After receiving this news they asked Dave if he would like a night off from DJing to relax with the other guests and Dave accepted.
Unfortunately a DJ which came as part of a package was never going to be as good as a professional like the guys from Dave Pierce Entertainment.

The package DJ's set up was rather untidy with many wires showing and the DJ wasn't even set up facing the audience (seen in the pictures). At Dave Pierce Entertainment they believe a DJ is a performer and so should always be facing the audience for maximum interaction capabilities.
There was also a major problem with this DJ's set up as one of the two speakers was not working correctly so through the whole evening event only one speaker was used! No doubt this DJ was cheap and so didn't have the scope in the pricing to carry any backup equipment in case a situation like this arose. Dave Pierce Entertainment only use high quality, reliable equipment and will always carry additional equipment and spares so if something like this does happen, a backup plan is always ready to be put into action and your event isn't spoiled by a failure.

 

This DJ did eventually manage to get a few people up dancing when the alcohol started to take hold but this would have happened much earlier if a professional was booked for the event.

The choice is yours if you are having your wedding at the Copthorne Hotel, Salford Quays, Manchester. You can either take the package DJ and hope that your night will be ok or you can ensure an excellent party and the success of your event by using Dave Pierce Entertainment for your wedding reception. This security for your event is priced starting from as little as £200. A fraction of the cost, when you consider that most weddings cost upwards of £7000 in total.

WEDDING DJ DISCO for Hire at Broadfield Park Hotel, Rochdale

Saturday 3rd August 2013 - The wedding reception of Ben and Michaela at Best Western Broadfield Park Hotel, Rochdale.

Ben and Michaela chose 'Boyzone - Every Day I Love You' for their first dance on their special day. DJ Dave got all the guests to come and stand around the dancefloor for this special moment so that no one missed anything.

Following the first dance DJ Dave didn't waste any time in getting the dancing started and the guests started to have some fun.

Wedding DJ Hire at Foxfields, Whalley, Clitheroe - Disco for your Wedding in Clitheroe

Friday 12th July 2013 - DJ Dave was to entertain for the wedding of Louise and Corrie at Mercure Foxfields Hotel, Whalley, near Clitheroe, Lancashire. This was slightly different to most of our weddings as there were two brides.

Hire a DJ for your wedding at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel Blackburn

Saturday 6th July 2013 - Stephen and Gemma's Wedding in the Pendle suite at Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Blackburn.

The larger 4000w sound system was needed for this venue as the room is exceptionally large to hold around 400 guests so DJ Dave had to set everything up in the early afternoon before everyone arrived at the venue after the church ceremony at 3pm.

The day was very hot and sunny so guests were outside enjoying the weather when DJ Dave started playing from 7:30pm.We had to get everyone inside by 8:30pm so that the bride and groom could cut the cake and have their first dance. 

The first dance was a mixture of two tracks, Noah and the Whale - Five years followed by Westlife - Flying Without Wings. Both tracks mean a lot to Gemma and Stephen.

The band had a short break while the buffet was served and then Dave introduced them again for their secong 45 min set.

The music from the band was loved by all but now it was time for DJ Dave to start his final set for the evening so it was time to pull something out of the bag!

Dave got everyone into a circle for a few classic party hits.

Dave ended the evening with a selection of slow dance songs for the couples who were present to enjoy a final dance together.
